Blue Sky

This morning about 9:30. 11 C. The day stretches ahead of me and I wonder how much time I will waste today. I do love my life! The only deadlines are self-imposed.

Have a lovely day. πŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™Š

  1. I know the feeling well! Big problem, though – I’m hopeless at sticking to my self-imposed deadlines.

Me too, Helen. [sigh] I tried doing my writing before going on to the internet, and that worked for a while, but since I’ve started tracking my steps with my vivofit, I can’t wait to get onto Garmin to see how I slept, and onto myfitnesspal to record my intended food intake for the day. And then I come here … and so it goes. πŸ™‚

I’ll have to come over with a whip & a load hailer, hup 2, 3, 4. I’m exhausted after that, think I will go and have a lay down. Beautiful blue sky. Today is very autumny, supposed to be 26, beautiful day to do some weeding….. will wait and see what tomorrow is like.

Geez, Sue, I’m glad you don’t live closer! BUT is IS good to have someone nagging, keeping me on my toes. ❀

Me, nag??? Of course not. To be serious, you have spent a lot of time on the book, and, like with anything that is nearly finishing, you start to sag a bit. Like standing outside a door with your hand on the handle to open it, are you going in or out? (does that sound a bit weird?). What I’m trying to say is that there’s no rush, it will still be there tomorrow, next week etc. then knock, knock (on the door), it will be opened/finished.

Yeah, that’s what I have to remind myself – there IS no rush. It’s better to take my time and do it right. The last three days I’ve just been trying to put into words the main theme of my novel – the tagline. Up to now it has just been a ‘feeling’. And this morning it finally came to me: any variation on ‘decide in haste, repent at leisure’ about sums it up. πŸ™‚

Love the photo. Can imagine myself in a hammock, or on the grass on a blanket, relaxed, looking up.

Actually, it wasn’t too bad in the sun. The air a little icy but that blue sky is lovely. I was a little miffed that there wasn’t a single bird to be seen in the tree though. Often there will be a cockatoo or a magpie, or even a crow. Many an hour I’ve spent in a hammock, Babe, a wonderful way to relax. πŸ™‚
