Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Painted Haybales

So here we go, I thought it about time I joined in again for this weekly photo challenge over at Cee’s.  A new theme every Tuesday, this week is anything painted.

I was considering giving you a boring photo of peeling paint, but I had a stroke of luck yesterday on our trip to visit Mr R’s mum when we spotted these painted haybales just off the Digger’s Rest / Bulla Road.

Painted Haybales

I’m fairly certain they are characters from SpongeBob Squarepants. [Sue and Claudette inform me that the middle one is a Minion, from the movie ‘Despicable Me.’]

They brought a smile to this old girl’s dial! Have a good day and thanks for looking. 🙂

I don’t know Bob Squarepants {or whatever you said his name is} but the hay bales are very intriguing!

It a kid’s cartoon or TV show. I remembered seeing toys in catalogues, so went looking for images online, and now I’m certain the paintings are based on those characters. Thanks for looking Effy.

At least one is a Minion. Not sure about the others. Some Minions have 1 eye and some have 2. Great pictures, I thought maybe you had been sneaking out during the night and doing some painting.

Ok, the middle one is definitely a Minion (from the movie Despicable Me). Think the two others may be SpongeBob Squarepants (and what an idiotic show that is in my opinion). Anyway, great photo for the prompt Christine.

Thanks Claudette, I was just guessing as I’ve never seen the show. I haven’t seen that movie, either. So Minion it is! 😀

Well, I have watched a few kids movies in my time – some even when they are adults 🙂

Ah, not Grandkids quite yet, hehehe, these were my own children not so very long ago.

🙂 I will soon be 50 (in fact in 3 days) and a Granny in less than 6 months.

I started early, had both my kids before I was 21. Nearly a Granny? Well done.

I should have asked Julius to name them. I do know one is Bob and the other Kevin, (1 eye or 2) but which is which I don’t know. When asked what he wanted for his birthday the reply was MINIONS, so that’s what he got, including pj’s
