Effy’s poem

When I first re-blogged Effy’s poem from her blog, all the poem came except for three words, so I’m doing it this way instead. I love it and really want you to visit her site to read.

far below on the forest floor,
lie branches fallen
from the giants sides,
lie bushes whose thirst
was never fully slaked,
lie strips of bark
discarded from the giants’ undressing, …
