Grevillea rosmarinifolia

The grevillea shrubs along our service road have been flowering for awhile. I took my Nikon D3000 with me a few days ago, hoping to be treated to the same bird display from the previous morning  – 3 restless flycatchers, 1 willy wagtail, 1 thrush, several yellow thornbills and a small flock of striated pardalotes were all in one small section of bushland when I had no camera at all, not even the phone!

Going by the look of the leaves, I’m guessing these are a variety of Grevillea rosmarinifolia.

Thanks for looking.

    • They are an Australian native plant. You know, I’ve never tried smelling them! Nothing too obvious. Since there are no bees in the cold I shall shove my nose in a blossom and report back. 🙂

Tell me what you're thinking.
